Fall is in the air and I love it! The smells of fall and the crispness in the air is so delightful! My poor apple cinnamon candle never gets to take a break. Speaking of smells... some of you may know that I have a super human dog like sense of smell. This has never been an issue in the past but now it is my worst enemy! There is a very nice middle eastern man that lives across from us and next to him a very interesting Asian couple that keep to themselves and run the other way when they see people. Very strange. Anyway these people are cookers! Gaaaahhhh, the smells seeping into our apartment have me literally covering my nose with my shirt and holding my breath as I walk passed. I am soo nauseous all day long and certain smells put me over the edge. I'd like some nose plugs please! I think I am about half way through the first trimester and while I'd like to enjoy being in the moment I really wouldn't mind speeding up time.
Also I started school at Portland Community College and I am thankful because it takes my mind off of being sick all of the time. I am so excited to get back into the nursing field, especially now that I am older and biology excites me rather than making me cringe like it used to.
This next week we are moving into Cam's north Portland home. We are SO ready to put our clothes into a dresser and to find that long lost crock pot that needs to be producing loads of pot roasts. I've been fine for the past three weeks living basically out of a suitcase because I had no other choice, but there is nothing like having a place to put your stuff! George Carlin said it best when he said, "That is the whole meaning of life, trying to find a place for your stuff." That guy is incredible. Anyway, it is true. I find that I cannot be organized if my living situation is a mess! So easy to say that this is what I have been looking forward to for months!
Adios for now,
XO
